Hotel Rates and Information
Important Reminder! You must register for the conference before you will be able to book your hotel (the conference and hotel registration are both included in the one-step process when you register online or with the registration form. Early Registration discount through September 3, 2010 AAHSA members who register by Sept. 3 receive a substantial discount on the registration fee. After Sept. 3, the full registration fee applies.
Your conference badge and tickets will be mailed to you All attendees who register by September 3 will receive a conference badge and tickets in the mail. After September 3, conference badges and tickets may be picked up during on-site registration at Los Angeles Convention Center South.

Registration Confirmation Your registration will be confirmed by e-mail if you have provided an e-mail address. Otherwise, confirmation will be sent by fax/mail. If you do not receive written confirmation within two weeks of the date sent, or if you have other registration questions, please e-mail AAHSA@Laser-Registration.com, call us at (514) 228-3159 or make changes directly on your confirmation letter and fax to (514) 228-3163.
Registration Payment We are unable to process registration forms received without payment. You may pay your registration fees by check, MasterCard, VISA or American Express.
Special Instructions for Online and Faxed Registrations Credit card payment is the ONLY method accepted for faxed and online registrations. Please do not mail the original form if you previously faxed your registration or registered online. This results in a duplicate charge to your credit card, which is refunded following the meeting. AAHSA cannot be responsible for interest charges that may result.
Cancellations All cancellations (registration and housing) need to be made in writing as per deadlines below.
Due to hotel policies, associations are now being held financially responsible for hotel rooms reserved but not actually occupied. To save AAHSA from penalty fees, it is imperative that our attendees reserve hotel rooms realistically and cancel with as much notice as possible. Canceling fewer than five (5) business days in advance of your arrival does not allow ample time for your room to be re-sold, and often means AAHSA will be paying for your unoccupied hotel room in addition to the one night penalty you receive.

We cannot issue refunds for cancellations received after October 4, 2010.
Changes Modifications and additions to Social Events, Education, Optional Events and hotel reservations can be made online. Please refer to your personalized URL in your confirmation to make modifications or additions. If you need to have a copy of your confirmation re-sent to you, please email AAHSA@laser-registration.com. Changes to your registration category need to be emailed to AAHSA@laser-registration.com.
Substitution Substitution must be submitted by October 4. After this date, all substitution will be processed at the on-site registration. A letter must originate from the original attendee and/or company with the attendee’s conference badge in order to process. Request for substitution of a hotel reservations must be emailed to AAHSA@laser-registration.com.
Hotel Reservation Deadline—September 3, 2010 Hotels are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. After September 3, hotel reservations will be accepted on a space-available basis with no guarantee that the convention rates will apply. All rates are per room per night and are subject to the current 15.4% sleeping room tax.
A credit card guarantee is required with each reservation request. Credit cards must be valid through your hotel check-in date (i.e., through November 2010). Hotel reservations without a valid credit card will not be processed. Credit cards are used as a guarantee only and will not be charged unless cancellation penalties apply.
Confirmations Confirmations will be sent after each reservation booking, modification and/or cancellation. Review it carefully for accuracy. If you do not receive a confirmation via e-mail, fax or mail within five (5) days after any transaction, please contact the housing bureau at aahsa@laser-registration.com or call (514) 228-3159.
