American College of Health Care Administrators
Administrators certified by ACHCA may use continuing education credits from this meeting toward their ACHCA certification renewal.
American Institute of Architects
AAHSA is a registered provider of continuing education programs under AIA/CES. Sessions in the Design and Project Development track and selected session in other tracks will be submitted for learning unit credit. An application has been submitted, but approval is not assured. Credit earned upon completion of this program will be reported to CES Records for AIA members. Certificates for non-AIA members will be made available upon request. A final list of approved sessions will be available onsite in the Education Office.
American Medical Directors Association
A select number of sessions have been submitted for credit hours in medical direction toward certification as a Certified Medical Director in Long-Term Care. The CMD program is administered by the American Medical Directors Certification Program. Each physician should claim only those hours actually spent on the activity. A final list of approved sessions will be available onsite in the Education Office.
Attorneys
Attorneys looking to receive MCLE credits should self submit to their state CLE Licensing Board. Pre-approval credits have not been secured by AAHSA due to the strenuous state-by-state requirements. Please use your CE card after attending each session to receive an AAHSA certificate of attendance that you can submit along with any additional information required by your state.
California RCFE
AAHSA has applied for 30 continuing education credits for administrators holding California RCFE licenses. Final information will be posted on the conference Web site as soon as it is available.
Certified Aging Services Professionals (CASP)—formerly RHP
All education sessions are applicable for CASP certification. Graduates certified by the Coalition for Leadership in Aging Services (CLAS) may use continuing education credits from this meeting toward their CASP/CASPF certification renewal.
Certified Fund Raising Executive
AAHSA has applied for approval from the CFRE organization for continuing education credits for Certified Fund Raising Executives. A final list of approved sessions will be available onsite in the Education Office.
Finance Professionals
AAHSA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. All sessions are classified as Specialized Knowledge and Applications field of study and are basic level, with no prerequisites or advance preparation required unless noted in the session description. Group-live instructional/delivery method. Maximum: 36 CPEs.
Florida Nursing Home Administrators
AAHSA is an approved provider of continuing education credits with the state of Florida and CE Broker. All sessions approved by the National Association of Boards of Examiners of Long-Term Care Administrators (NAB) will be accepted by the state of Florida and CE Broker.
If you are a registered administrator in the state of Florida, you MUST complete step 7 on the registration form with your name and license number to ensure that your credits are reported to CE Broker and the state of Florida.
Human Resources Professionals
A select number of sessions have been submitted for recertification credit hours toward PHR and SPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). For more information about certification or recertification, please visit the HRCI home page at www.hrci.org. A final list of approved sessions will be available onsite in the Education Office.
Kansas and Missouri Nursing Home Administrators
AAHSA has submitted several sessions for approval under the resident/patient care core of knowledge area for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Missouri Board of Nursing Home Administrators. Kansas and Missouri administrators cannot receive credit for some sessions. A final list of approved sessions will be available onsite in the Education Office.
NADONA/LTC
The National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long-Term Care (NADONA/LTC) has approved designated education sessions as applicable for educational units for NADONA/LTC certification. One hour is equal to one CE. A final list of approved sessions will be available onsite in the Education Office.
National Certification Council for Activities Professionals
AAHSA has applied for continuing education approval of sessions in the Wellness & Life Enrichment Track as well as a selection of Pre-Conference Seminars and Community Tours. A final list of approved sessions will be available onsite in the Education Office.
Nursing Continuing Education Contact Hours
Maryland Community College Association for Continuing Education and Training is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Nursing Home and Assisted Living Administrators
AAHSA is a certified sponsor of professional continuing education with the National Association of Boards of Examiners of Long-Term Care Administrators (NAB) and has approved this program for 30 clock hours listed under their sponsor agreement with NAB/NCERS.
